Mansfield Town have received 1,409 tickets for their trip to Sincil Bank on September 16th, where they can watch about 20 Mansfield Town players, current and old ones.
An adult ticket will set you back £18, but the tickets are currently only on sale to season ticket holders.
With over 2,500 of those, it is unlikely any will be left to go on general sale.
Lincoln impressed on Tuesday, when they brought over 900 supporters for the much maligned Freight Rover Trophy, in it’s current form.
We say malgined, we haven’t given two hoots about it since it was reformed from last season, so are showing little interest now, although I think we lost.
Lincoln of course, are fondly known around these parts as Mansfield ‘B’, and it was no surprise two former players were on the scoresheet at the One Call last night.
Although, one of the scorers was, a certain Ollie Palmer no less, we still wonder why he doesn’t quite get a hero’s welcome around these parts….
It is all set for the clash at the ‘bank’, where we hope our stalling start finally sorts itself out, and we teach the new boys a footballing lesson.
