No More Cash from Clucas Deals

There was some speculation with certain sections of Stags Supporters, that the Sam Clucas move to Swansea would see more cash pour into the One Call coffers.

Despite receiving 15% of the sell on fee when Clucas moved to Hull City from those over the M1, some thought any further deal would see more money head our way.

With Clucas on the verge of a move to Swansea for 15 million no less, hope was high of a further add on clause.

Sadly that isn’t the case, with shareholder Steve Middleton confirming at the Stags AGM this week, that Chesterfield would not have to pay any more money to Mansfield Town if Chesterfield made a further profit from Hull City selling Sam Clucas to Swansea City for around £15 million.
