Here they all come, shout Stags supporters as another local derby clash is moved from it’s original kick off time slot.
Mansfield Town’s mouth watering clashes with Chesterfield, is now the subject of local police intervention.
The home clash is on Saturday 25 November and away on Saturday 14 April 2018.
Both matches will now kick-off at 1pm.
In 2013, Calvin Andrew sent 2,000 Stags supporters home happy with a headed winner in a 1-0 win at the Tesco backed brick stadium.
Unfortunately, the excitement in March 2014, was less so, with a drab 0-0 draw at the One Call nothing to write home about.
Mansfield Town fans, are all fearing a host of kick off time changes this coming season, with both the Notts County and Chesterfield obvious ones, but we are also expecting Grimsby Town, Lincoln City, Coventry City and maybe even Port Vale home games to be shifted as well.
In fact, it is probably easier to put up breaking news stories when a game gets to go ahead at 3pm on a Saturday.
