This is to be a new feature on Mansfield Town’s vitalfootball, where we take a look at how our old boys have done over the recent fixtures.

Fans Favourite Chris Greenacre endeared himself even further to the Stags’ faithful on Friday night. Super Chrissy grabbed the crucial second goal for Tranmere in their 2-0 win over fierce local rivals Chesterfield. Colin Larkin also played in the match, without success.

Ex-Stags left winger Adam Rundle grabbed the opener in Rochdale’s 4-2 victory over sliding Accrington, as he bundled the ball over the line in a goalmouth scramble.

Impressive former loanee striker Richard Cresswell bagged a late consolation for Leeds United, as they went down 3-2 at home to Sheffield Wednesday. It was a case of right place at the right time for the front-man, as he poked home from seven yards with the goal gaping.

Liam Lawrence played 87 ineffectual minutes for Stoke City and Leroy Williamson failed to make the bench for Watford.
