League 2 safety was all but assured on Tuesday when Mansfield beat Tranmere to send them to the foot of the Football League, and today we’ll be looking to make sure of this status.

A win at Cambridge’s Abbey Stadium and Adam Murray has achieved the goal that he was brought in to achieve, so we couldn’t ask much more of that and we know how much it means to him.

Cambridge, like us are looking to assured survival, are likely to go with Ryan Donaldson (hamstring), Harrison Dunk (ribs) and Chris Dunn (groin) again despite the injuries they’ve been carrying. Liam Hughes, Jordan Chiedozie (calf), Ian Miller (knee), Luke Chadwick and Rory Gaffney aren’t expected to play again this season.

Reggie Lambe (suspension) will definitely sit this one out following his sending off, after he had scored the winning, in the one-nil win against Tranmere.

Martin Riley, Lee Beevers and Lenny Pidgeley (knocks) all missed that win and could miss out again with Matt Rhead, Rakish Bingham, Ricky Ravenhill, Alex Fisher and Terry Hawkridge all waiting to come in.

The aim for Murray is to end the season strongly now, firstly to make sure of survival once and for all. Ideally he says he wants to win all three-matches we’ve got left, can we do so starting today?
