It’s another quick turnaround in league 2 with little rest bite for Mansfield, who are on their travels tonight.

Mansfield head to Tranmere Rovers’ Prenton Park this evening as their new boss Micky Adams takes charge for the first time since his appointment as boss.

Tranmere could give loan signing Armand Gnanduillet a debut but injury rules out Cole Stockton (pelvis), Danny Woodards (foot), Matt Hill (Achilles) and Liam Ridehalgh (ankle).

Mansfield continue to be beset by injuries with Paul Cox down to his last 15 fit players. A patched up side drew nil-nil with Cambridge United on Saturday with Fergus Bell (dislocated collarbone) and Simon Heslop (hamstring) involved when otherwise they might not have been.

Luke Jones (ruptured Achilles tendon) was injured in training last week and will miss the season, Matt Rhead (hamstring) and Adam Murray (suspension) continue to miss out but Chris Clements could return.
