Steve Hymas left the Mansfield board in 2012, and then took legal action against the club, but he’s now in talks about a possible return.

The BBC reports that our former director, who left following ‘behind the scenes’ disagreements along with Andy Saunders, Steve Middleton and Darren Bland, is now in talks with chairman John Radford about this return.

This certainly would be a surprise as upon Hymas and Saunders leaving they were owed money in the region of £1m, which led them to taking this legal action, with this still unresolved….

When they left the pair founded AFC Mansfield but Hymas has ‘resigned his position as chairman’ and is reportedly taking up a director of youth position at the One Call Stadium?
