Mansfield Town have reported back to training today, ahead of their week long training trip to Malta next week.

Whilst the players have been away (well those few that were kept on), at least a dozen signings have come through the One Call Door.

Boss Steve Evans told the official Mansfield Town website ‘in fairness to the players, they’re the boys that have to come back in good shape and every of them has come back back to super measurements’

The Stags spent the day at Nottingham Trent University in the dismal weather as they got to know all the new recruits.

On Monday, they fly out to Malta for a pre-season tour, which has provided some critics over the length of time to line a game up, with a 8 month wait for fans wanting to join the squad.

The first friendly of the summer back on home soil will be against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday 15th July.
