Mansfield Town have so far shifted 400 more season tickets than were brought for the last campaign, delighting CEO Carolyn Radford.

Despite being on sale for just over three weeks, the club have sold over 2,200 season tickets so far.

With twelve signings already made, fans are encouraged by how manager Steve Evans has made the Stags the red hot team to back for the League 2 title.

CEO Carolyn Radford told the official Mansfield Town Website “We are really encouraged by season ticket sales so far, and expect to have an impressive number by the start of the season”.

Fans who have missed out on the early bird offer the club were offering, can still buy season tickets for £340 for an adult ticket, which works out at less than £15 per game.

The club have however put a £2 increase on match day prices, which could also be helping to drive season ticket sales.
