We’re still in the FA Cup but we had a real battle against out non-league opponents Concorde Rangers who will now really fancy their chances in the replay.

We took an early lead but were instantly pegged back by Concord Rangers with the game ending in a 1-1 draw at the One Call Stadium so a replay will need to take place to determine the winners.

The going was tough for the Stags from the off with Jordan Chiedozie threatening an early goal but his volley went wide with Matt Rhead and Fergus Bell having chances that were close, but not close enough.

A lead then came our way, Danny Glozier (16) was attempting to block a Rhead header but he ended up turning this into his own net to give us the lead.

Chiedozie (17) levelled instantly though with a stunning drive from 30-yards that flew into the top corner off the inside of the post to stun the home crowd, who had barely stopped celebrating the opener!

Concorde ‘keeper Josh Vickers was forced into a good save from Rakish Bingham with Adam Murray also putting a chance wide before the break as the half ended one-one.

Early in the second half Vickers again denied Bingham with our own ‘keeper Sascha Studer forced into the best save of the night to top over Chiedozie’s effort.

Chris Clements’ last minute freekick almost won it for us, again Vickers saved to ensure the non-league side, as they deserved really, got their replay and extends our winless run to nine-games as the pressure builds!
