Mansfield were on for a big three-points on Saturday until an injury-time leveller saw us denied against Northampton.

Northampton, despite playing around an hour with just 10-men, denied us the points when they scored an injury-time penalty in the one-one draw at the One Call.

Heslop went close to putting us ahead but his freekick grazed the top of the bar with Oliver also going close before Northampton lost O’Toole to a straight red following a clash with Sutton.

Minutes into the second half Oliver (48) got onto the end of a long ball from Beevers to give us the lead.

Taylor almost headed Northampton level but the bar saved us before they were rewarded when Brown brought down Toney with Richards (90+3) converting the resulting penalty at the death.

Following this game, as is customary of course, attention now turns to the MotM for us – who you think this was?

Select the name that you want from the list in the poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking for that person, and this latest game itself, with some views….
