Mansfield Town continue to make inroads into the summer transfer market by making the loan deal with defender Hayden White a permanent one for next season.

The 22 year old right back, impressed last season with 18 appearances since joining on loan from Peterborough United.

It is the second signing from the Posh, in the space of a day, as Lee Angol joined just prior to this news breaking.

The Stags did have the option to buy White, as part of the loan deal and Stags supporters will be delighted this has been activated, such was the impression he made last season.

Manager Steve Evans told the official Mansfield Town website “Signing Hayden White on a permanent deal was something which was at the forefront of my mind at the end of last season”.

White has become the 6th signing in a busy week for Evans, and who is to say he is finished, he might want to relax and go on holiday at some point!
