Former Mansfield Town fanzine, Dejavu once again honoured one of the Stags legendary supporters, Chris Taylor, at the recent league game with Exeter City.

Chris Taylor was truly Mansfield Town through and through and sadly passed away two years ago following a couple of years of suffering health problems.

He ran the away travel for many years, and left a lasting impression on many supporters.

A set of which, the ex Mansfield Town fanzine, Dejavu, were so moved by his passing, they promised to honour each anniversary with an event to remember Chris.

The first of which, was a truly enjoyable day out at the 1-1 draw with Hartlepool in the last campaign.

For this year, a group of 20 put on dinner jackets and headed into the Mansfield Town 1861 lounge to honour his memory.

The doomed fanzine industry were not spared a one off edition of DejaVu in 2016, as the team all got back together to produce an ambitious full colour memorial edition.

You can read the version on the DejaVu website.

Although the day ended in a disapointing 2-1 home defeat for the Stags in the play off push, the event was well received by all at the ground who knew Chris and leaves the door open for next years memorial event.
