Mansfield Town Supporters have been taking to social media this week expressing concern over the clubs pre-season tour to Malta.

With just three weeks to go until the start of a week long excursion to the summer sun, and a proposed week long training get together, the original announcement on the trip, was that the Stags would be taking part in two friendly games to keep supporters entertained.

However, no games have so far been announced which has started to worry supporters.

With over 400 Mansfield Town supporters expected to invade the popular parts of Malta in early July, time is running out for the club to put these fears to bed.

Mansfield Town themselves, moved this afternoon, to say that plans were still being finalized and would be announced in due course.

It hasn’t stopped the wild rumours and text messages amongst those supporters flying out soon, to ask each other, just what is happening.

Steve Evans did touch on the Malta trip during one of his recent press conferences however, and did say he was hoping to push his new players through a couple of games whilst out of the country.

Vital Mansfield will be in Malta for the weekend of 7th July, and are praying the club have a fixture lined up for the Saturday or Sunday.
