Over 1,000 tickets were snapped up by eager season ticket holders yesterday, which led to the club receiving an extra thousand tickets over the initial 1,700 allocation.

It means Stags supporters will not only be behind the goal for the match, but also down one of the sides at the dreary looking ground.

The game could be vital to Chesterfield’s hopes of staying in the football league, whilst the Stags automatic promotion hopes have started to falter in recent weeks.
