Mansfield Town manager Steve Evans didn’t leave anything back after the weekend draw with Coventry City, turning his attention on Sky Blues boss Mark Robins.

Evans was super critical over the referee’s performance, but was equally unhappy over the antics of visiting boss Mark Robins.

Following hot on the heels of Cheltenham manager Gary Johnson having a hissy fit over Danny Rose and losing his head at the One Call Stadium, Evans let rip at Robins, who was also seen to having a few heated words with the Stags top scorer.

Evans let his post match press conference cover his thoughts for the ex Manchester United striker ‘We appeal for everything and we get a name for it, I’ll tell you what we don’t do, we don’t abuse opposition players on the field.’

‘I’ve just watched Robins do it, Robins who thinks he should be manager of England, absolutely slaughtering Danny Rose on the field of play.’ the gaffer was not happy with his counterpart it would seem.
