Ahead of the game against Bury last weekend, Leicester City left back Callum Elder extended his time at the One Call Stadium for a further month.

The Australian 20 year old has featured twelve times for the club since joining back in early January, and his looping long throw ins are a pleasant feature to his game, more than playing their part in the Newport and Dagenham and Redbridge victories.

This is the third time his spell has been extended for a further month and he will now return to Leicester City at midnight on Saturday April 11 – although he may well travel back earlier in the evening.

Speaking to the Official Site as the extension was announced, manager Adam Murray explained.

‘Callum has been excellent in every period of his loan so far. He`s somebody who I believe will go on and play at a much higher level. We`ve obviously thanked Leicester in previous months and we do so again because it`s a privilege for us to have somebody of his stature at the club.’
