EFL Fixtures Release Date

It won’t be long to wait for the League 2 fixtures to be released, during the world cup no less. No doubt everyones attention will be when the local derbies with Lincoln City and Notts County will be next season..

The EFL have confirmed that the 2018/19 fixtures will be released on Thursday the 21st of June 2018 from 9am.

Of course, there is a longer wait to be had until the season itself gets underway.

• The opening day fixtures for the new campaign will get underway on Saturday the 4th of August 2018.
• The First Round of the Carabao Cup will be played the week commencing the 13th of August 2018.
• The Checkatrade Trophy gets underway during the week commencing the 3rd of September 2018.
• The Emirates FA Cup First Round will be scheduled for the weekend of the 10th of November 2018.
• The final day of the season looks to be on the 4th of May 2019.
