With so much to play for with three games remaining, all focus at the One Call Stadium this week has been about building support for the last push, and hopefully three points at the Lamax Stadium this afternoon.

Another big afternoon awaits us… nervous and excited.Wishing our boys a great performance.
Hoping for a big following too. – John Radford

The Chairman’s twitter feed was a nervous call to arms this morning, knowing a Stags win will help fill the Stadium for the home clash with already promoted Portsmouth next weekend.

Meanwhile, popular midfielder Jamie McGuire joined boss Steve Evans at the midweek news conference with his quotes appearing through the clubs twitter feed, and he once again praised supporters ‘I’d say to the fans, if we can, can we sell that back stand out at Stevenage? We need a 12th man on Saturday.’

The game is vital for the Stags hopes of gatecrashing the play off picture, as they currently site just two points from the top 7, but also knowing up to 11 teams in League 2, still have the same ambition.

A defeat, will all but end any chance of an amazing end to a season which started slowly up until Steve Evans came to town, but has gathered pace ever since.

There is little doubt, that Evans knows what he is doing, and his league record since taking the Mansfield Town hotseat is still very impressive.
